The request in both the abovesaid matters is limited in nature and the petitioners merely seek expeditious disposal of their respective bail applications i.e. anticipatory bail in CRL.M.C. 3195/2026 and regular bail in CRL.M.C. 3230/2026.

Learned Special Public Prosecutor for the State appears on advance notice and there is appearance from the side of the learned Senior Counsel for the complainant. They assure that there would not be any unnecessary adjournment or delay from their side. It is also stated that the concerned I.O. would also appear before the learned Sessions Court to render complete assistance and cooperation.

In view of the abovesaid assurance, at the moment, this Court does not find any requirement of passing any direction to the learned Trial Court. However, this Court expects that since the question of liberty is involved, the learned Trial Court would keep said aspect in mind and would make best endeavour to dispose of the bail applications, as expeditiously as possible. 4.

It is, however, clarified that this Court has not made any observation with respect to the abovesaid pending bail applications, either way. 5.

The present petitions stand disposed of in aforesaid terms.
