This hearing has been held through video-conferencing. 2.

Pursuant to the last order dated 11th June 2020, the status report and the medical report of the Petitioner has been received. As per the report the Petitioner unfortunately passed away on 28th June, 2020. In view of the same, the petition is infructuous.

It is submitted on behalf of the ld. counsel for the Petitioner that the charge-sheet was supplied only pursuant to the orders of this Court and the maximum sentence would have been three years. He also submits that the medical record ought to have been considered by the duty Magistrate before rejecting the bail application.

In cases where medical grounds are taken on behalf of the under-trial prisoners, as a ground for seeking bail, the concerned Courts/Judicial Officers shall make an effort to call for the medical record, in order to By:PRATHIBA M SINGH

satisfy themselves as to the medical conditions of the said prisoners. 5.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. All pending applications are also disposed of.
