Mr. Sachin Chopra, counsel for Respondent No. 3 has drawn the attention of this Court to order dated 23rd July, 2024, passed by the State Registrar of Societies, Haryana, wherein it has been observed as under: "14.

In view of the above enquiry report as well recommendation submitted by the District Registrar, it is evident that the Haryana State KhoKho Association, Jind has contravened the provisions of Rule 8(1) of the HRRS Rules, 2012 and also carrying the business of the society on fabricated and forged documents, which is totally against the provisions of the Act: and such illegalities cannot be overlooked and allowed to be continued.

After considering the reply/objections filed by Society and public and recommendations by the District Registrar, it Is hereby ordered, that The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Registration No.HR-009-2016-00214 dated 18.10.2016 granted to the society namely Haryana State Kho-Kho Association registered office at VPO- Jalalpur Kaian, Tehsil & District- Jind, be cancelled under section 59 of the HRRS Act, 2012. The District Registrar, Jind is directed to take further necessary action strictly adhering to the provisions contained under the HRRS Act, 2012 and Rules made thereunder." 2.

A Copy of the said order has been handed over across the board and is taken on record. As can be seen from the aforesaid order, the registration of the Petitioner association has been cancelled. Ms. Vrinda Bhandari, counsel for Petitioner, states that Petitioner Association was not aware of the aforesaid development. Nonetheless, in view of the above development, whereby the Petitioner is no longer a recognised society, the present petition is no longer maintainable, and is, accordingly, disposed of. 3.

The Petitioner shall be at liberty to take recourse to appropriate proceedings, if so advised, against the aforenoted order, in accordance with law.

In light of the above, the present petition is disposed of along with pending applications.
