% 10.08.2020 The status report dated 7.8.2020 has been submitted by the State as per which the applicant has already undergone a minor surgery with four stitches and was referred to plastic surgeon for further treatment and as per the status report he has not visited any plastic surgeon till date and it is stated that the date of plastic surgery has not been decided. Counsel for the petitioner has informed that the date of plastic surgery has not been scheduled in as much as the Operation Theatres are closed in view of the pandemic. The status report further indicates to the effect that the applicant as informed by the Investigating Officer seems fit though he had stated that he was internally not feeling well but can drive a car and a two wheeler.

As regards the ailment of the applicant, there is no ground for extension of interim bail that is granted to the applicant, -however, learned counsel for the applicant seeks to place reliance on the orders of the Hon'ble Signature Not Verified By:SUMIT GHAI Signing Date:11.08.2020 12:22:51 This file is PS to HMJ ANU MALHOTRA.

Division Bench of this Court whereby there have been extensions granted of the interim bails. That factum that vide order dated 4.8.2020 in W.P.(C) 3080/2020, the interim bails have been extended for a further period of 45 days in view of the present pandemic, is not refuted on behalf of the State. In the circumstances, in terms of order dated 4.8.2020 of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) No. 3080/2020, the interim bail granted to the applicant in terms of order dated 16.6.2020 is extended for a period of 45 days from the date 10.7.2020 on the same terms and conditions as imposed vide order dated 16.6.2020 with the direction that the applicant shall surrender on the 45th day of his release. The petition is disposed of.
