O R D E R

% 23.06.2020 The latest status report filed in consequence of our previous order discloses that Covid-19 test of the petitioner was got conducted, and unfortunately, he has been found to be Covid-19 Positive. Consequently, he has been placed in isolation for 14 days.

The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has already moved the competent Courts at Ghaziabad to obtain bail in cases which are pending against him in those Courts. He submits that in case the petitioner is granted bail in those cases, the petitioner may be released after the mandatory period of isolation that he is presently undergoing on account of his being tested Covid-19 Positive. After the isolation period of the petitioner is over, a fresh Covid-19

test of the petitioner will be conducted to see whether he is positive, or not. In case the report of the said fresh test comes Negative and he is not found to be Covid-19 Positive any more, depending on the petitioner obtaining bail in other cases and in compliance of the terms & conditions of the bail orders that may be passed by the competent Court at Ghaziabad, the petitioner may not be detained by the respondents. However, in case his production is necessary before the competent Court at Ghaziabad for any purpose - such as furnishing of his personal bond before those Courts, he may be produced before the competent Court without any delay so that he could avail of the bail order and may obtain bail at the earliest.
