The limited grievance has been raised by the petitioner, who is presently working on the post of Sub-Inspector (MT) in the respondent No.2/ITBP, is with regard to a discrepancy in the fixation of his pay viz a viz his juniors.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that repeated representations in this regard have been made by the petitioner to the competent authority which has not elicited any response. The last representation made by the petitioner was on 26.09.2017 and it was forwarded through proper channel to the competent authority on 10.10.2017, but it has also not been replied to so far.

Issue notice. Learned counsel for the respondents accepts notice and submits that if a reasonable time is granted, the respondents shall consider W.P.(C) 769/2018

the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders under intimation to him.

The petition is accordingly disposed of with the consent of the parties. The respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2017, forwarded through proper channel to the competent authority on 10.10.2017 and take a decision within six weeks from today under written intimation to him. If the grievance of the petitioner still survives, he shall be entitled to seek legal recourse.
