This petition is filed for quashing of FIR No.51/2022 PS Jaffarpur Kalan under Sections 447/506 IPC on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties on 13th March 2024, which is on record of this Court. 2.
Petitioner and respondent no.2 are present in the Court and duly identified by the IO and their respective counsels. 3.
Respondent no.2, who is represented by counsel, confirms that as per settlement he is now the owner and in possession of property in question being property No.114, Khasra No.250, Gali No.10, Dabar Enclave, Rawta More, Jaffarpur Kalan, New Delhi, and has no objection to the quashing of the FIR.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petitions are allowed and FIR No.51/2022 PS Jaffarpur Kalan under Sections 447/506 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are disposed of as infructuous.
