M.A. 7658/2020 (Exemption) It is an application seeking exemption from filing certified copies of annexures, attested affidavits etc. Taking note of the prevailing circumstances on account of Covid-19 pandemic, the application is granted with the stipulation that the requisite documents and the affidavits etc. shall be filed within 07 days of the resumption of the regular functioning of the Court. Application stands disposed of accordingly.

BAIL APPLN. 1260/2020 & CRL. M. (BAIL) 7411/2020 By the instant applications, the applicant seeks extension of the bail granted by the Court on 04.05.2020 for a period of six weeks from the date of release.

During the course of hearing, Mr. Padora, ld. counsel for the applicant submits that the grounds of sickness of the mother for extension of bail are not pressed and that, taking note of the prevailing circumstances on account of Covid-19 pandemic and the other attending circumstances owing to the responsibility of the applicant towards his family including the mother, the interim bail may be extended for a period of three months. On being queried, it also comes to be stated by him that the proceedings before the Trial Court are now fixed for 29.09.2020.

Taking note of the totality of facts and circumstances, the interim bail of the applicant is extended for a period of 21 days on the same terms and conditions making it clear that no further indulgence on the same ground shall be entertained.
