The petitioner is aggrieved by the lack of response from the office of the respondents/Commissioner of Customs to several representations made by it, the last one being letter dated 6.5.2020, requesting inter alia that the alert issued on IEC : 0594052637 and a second alert issued on GSTIN : 07APMPS9895L1ZK, may be quashed/withdrawn for the reasons stated therein. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the aforesaid alerts were issued by the respondents in or around October, 2019 and despite several representations made by the petitioner explaining its position and seeking recall, the respondents have maintained dead silence. Hence, the present petition. 3.

Mr. Bansal, learned counsel for the respondents states that he was served with an advance copy of the paper book on Friday, but since the office of the respondents was closed over the weekend, he could not obtain instructions. WP(C) 3526/2020

In view of the fact that the respondents have failed to reply to any of the representations submitted by the petitioner so far, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of the present petition with directions issued to the respondents to consider and forward a reply to the representations submitted by the petitioner for quashing of and/or withdrawing the alerts issued in respect of IEC : 0594052637 and GSTIN : 07APMPS9895L1ZK, referred to herein above, within a period of two weeks from today, under written intimation to it. If the grievance of the petitioner still survives, it shall be entitled to seek its remedies in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of.
