Petitioner seeks direction to the respondent to decide petitioner's application seeking parole for a period of three months. 2.

The petitioner, who has been convicted under Sections 302/394/397/34 IPC and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959 and has been sentenced to life imprisonment, is aggrieved by the fact that his representation dated 10.10.2025 has yet not been considered, whereby he was seeking release on parole.

Learned Standing Counsel (Crl.) for the State appears on advance notice and submits that, normally, the representation is decided expeditiously and has no instructions as to why the matter has been delayed. 4.
