Pursuant to order dated 03rd April 2025, Mr. Sharang Dhulia, CGSC, for respondent appears through VC and states that compliance of order dated 21st August 2024, has been made.

The sanction order, in this regard, was issued on 15th April 2025 for an amount of Rs. 1,27,294/-, the payment is expected to be transferred today to petitioner.

Accordingly, the contempt petition is disposed of. Liberty is given to the petitioner to revive the petition; in case payment is not received. 5.
It is noted that the petitioner is a victim of the anti-Sikh riots that occurred in 1984 and had claimed compensation under the notification issued in November 1984.

In view of the para 5 of order dated 03rd April 2025, Mr. Dharamvir Soni, Under Secretary, Govt. of India appears through VC. It has been pointed out that in such matters, respondent/State should have been prompt in complying of the orders of the Court, than pushing the petitioner to pursue this through various rungs of court proceedings. 8.
Petition is, therefore, disposed of in view of the above directions. 9.
