O R D E R

% 24.01.2017 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.841/2013 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 419/468/471 IPC against the petitioner at Police Station Mangolpuri. The complainant is present in Court. She is identified by her counsel. Petitioner and respondent no.2 are husband and wife and there is a matrimonial dispute between them. They have settled their matrimonial disputes as well as the present dispute.

The petition is premised on a settlement and it is informed that the settlement has been amount paid to the complainant. The complainant states

that she has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that she has entered the settlement out of her own free will. The complainant further states that she joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question. Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
