This petition was filed for directing the respondent to release the petitioner on furlough for a period of three weeks which was granted to him vide order dated 05.03.2020 by the Office of Director General (Prisons). It is submitted though the furlough was granted to the applicant on 05.03.2020 yet the applicant was not released due to a punishment dated 27.02.2020. Admittedly the said punishment was never approved by the learned District and Session's Judge till date. The learned APP for the State on the last date seeks time to verify the address of the applicant in West Bengal which is stated to have been verified by them.

In the circumstances, the petitioner/applicant herein is admitted on parole for a period of three weeks from the date of his release on his executing a personal bond of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent/Duty Metropolitan Magistrate. A surety of same amount shall be furnished by him of any of his relative before the learned Trial Court within a week from his release. The petitioner is directed to give his contact details to the SHO, PS Burari, Delhi and shall keep his mobile SHARMA

The petition stands disposed of. Pending application if any, also stands disposed of.
