After some hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the only relief being sought by him is that an audience be granted by the respondent to the petitioner, through its advocate, to make submissions and provide information as regards the petitioner to the respondent/ECI. 2.

Considering the innocuous nature of the aforesaid prayer, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/ECI to afford an opportunity of hearing to the representative of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, and take note of the submissions/ explanations/ information that may be provided to the respondent. 3.
