The instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 („Cr.P.C.‟) has been filed on behalf of petitioner seeking issuance of appropriate writ, order or directions for release of the petitioner on parole for a period of 45 days. 4.

The petitioner herein has not yet approached the competent authority.
