% 03.07.2020 (hearing through Video Conferencing) The copies of orders in terms of proceedings dated 18.06.2020 are emailed now on behalf of the applicant today. The status report has been submitted on behalf of the State and at the outset on behalf of the State, it has been submitted that the applicant should have moved the learned Trial Court for bail. Learned counsel for the applicant seeks to withdraw the present application seeking liberty to seek redressal before the learned Trial Court and requests that the learned Trial Court be directed to take up the application seeking the grant of bail filed on behalf of the applicant on the ground of medical ailment of his wife expeditiously.

In view thereof, the present application is thus dismissed as withdrawn, as prayed with liberty granted to the applicant to seek redressal before the learned Trial Court in accordance with law. It is directed further that in the event, if any application is filed before the learned Trial Court on the grounds of ailment of wife of the petitioner before the District Court concerned, the same shall be taken up by the learned Trial Court expeditiously within a period of three days of the institution of the said application.

Copy of this order be sent to the learned District & Sessions Judge, South West, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi to ensure that the bail application, if any, filed by the applicant shall be considered and disposed of expeditiously by the concerned Duty Judge in accordance with the above directions.

The petition is disposed of.
