% 18.06.2020 The present matter has been taken up for hearing by way of Video Conferencing on account of COVID-19.
CM APPL.12763/2020 (Exemption) Exemption granted subject to all just exceptions. The application is disposed of accordingly.
CM APPL.12762/2020 (Exemption) The present application under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 has been filed on behalf of the applicant/appellant seeking exemptions from duly attested affidavits in support of the accompanying applications, as well as, the appeal and to pay the requisite court fees. For the reasons stated in the application and in view of the present prevailing situation, the same is allowed. The applicant/appellant is LPA 157/2020 Page 1 of 3
allowed to file the duly signed and attested affidavits within a period of one week from the date of resumption of regular functioning of the Court. Further, the applicant/appellant is allowed to file the requisite court fee within a period of 72 hours from the date of resumption of regular functioning of the Court.
With the above directions, the present application is disposed of. LPA 157/2020, CM APPL. 12759/2020, CM APPL. 12760/2020 & CM APPL. 12761/2020 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant, after a lengthy argument, states that he limits the reliefs prayed for in the present Letters Patent Appeal to a direction to the Principal, Satyawati College, Ashok Vihar, Phase-III, Delhi-110052 to decide his representation/legal notice dated 04.06.2020, annexed as Annexure A-7 to the instant appeal. Having heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant, as well as respondents, who appear on advance notice, the present Letters Patent Appeal is disposed of with a direction to the Principal, Satyawati College, Ashok Vihar, Phase-III, Delhi-110052 to decide/respond to the representation/legal notice dated 04.06.2020, sent on behalf of the appellant, within a period of four weeks from today by way of a speaking order, in accordance with law.
No further directions are prayed for, at this stage. With the above directions, the appeal is disposed of accordingly. All the pending applications also stand disposed of. Needless to state that, in the event, the appellant is aggrieved by the determination/response made by the Principal, Satyawati College, Ashok Vihar, Phase-III, Delhi-110052, the appellant is at liberty to approach this Court afresh, by way of an appropriate proceeding.
