The present writ petition has been filed seeking setting aside of the impugned demand notice dated 12th March, 2026. 2.

Mr. Rajesh Yadav, senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submits that the aforesaid notice has been issued without giving any show cause notice to the petitioner and without considering the representation dated 27th January, 2026 filed by the petitioner (Annexure P18). 3.

The writ petition was listed on 28th April, 2026, when Mr. Saurabh Seth, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/NDMC, took time to take instructions.

Mr. Seth, submits on instructions that the respondent/NDMC is willing to give a hearing to the petitioner and consider the objections filed on behalf of the petitioner.

Mr. Rajesh Yadav, senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner bank, submits that an opportunity may be given to the petitioner to file fresh comprehensive objections.

Let the said objections be filed within two (2) weeks from today. 7.

After objections have been filed, the respondent/NDMC shall give a hearing to the petitioner and pass a fresh assessment order. 8.

In view of the above, the impugned demand notice is set aside. 9.

Accordingly, the writ petition, along with all pending applications, stands disposed of.
