Photographs of the encroachment have been filed along with the petition. 3.

It is stated that the petitioner is a locomotor disabled person with 81% disability and resides in the said locality. It is contended that on account of illegal encroachment, the footpath meant for pedestrians is completely blocked.

Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent-MCD on advance notice, submits that Encroachment Removal Drive was carried out on 20th April, 2026 and the entire unauthorized encroachment has been removed from the area.

4.1 Photographs in this regard have been shown to this Court. 5.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing respondent-MCD and respondent-Delhi Police to continuously monitor the said area so as to ensure that no fresh encroachment reappears in the said area.
