By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks the following relief:- "i. the Petitioner, in pursuance of FIR No.RC0032024A0041, registered under Section 61(2) of the BNSS, 2023, and Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, where the Petitioner is both the informer and a vital witness."

Issue notice. The learned counsels accept notice on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioner is a witness in the present case. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner is being threatened by respondent no. 2.

In these circumstances, it is directed that the Witness Protection Committee of Rouse Avenue Court, upon moving an application by the petitioner for protection of witness, will decide the application within a period of one week, in accordance with law.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. 8.
