The present writ petition has been filed to trace and produce the daughter of the Petitioner who was missing from 04.11.2024. 2.

The writ petition discloses that the Petitioner suspects that the Respondent No. 2 has lured the daughter of the Petitioner away and that they have information that she is in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh and the family of the Respondent No. 2 i.e., Respondent No. 3 & 4, has confined the girl against her will.

Notice was issued.

The Status Report has been handed over in the Court today. 5.

the Petitioner came to the Police Station Ranhola and a statement has been recorded wherein she said that she had gone to Sambhal on her own accord and was living with her boyfriend i.e. Respondent No. 2. 6.

The daughter of the Petitioner is about four months pregnant. 7.

The girl has been produced in this Court.

The girl's mother has also appeared before us. 9.

The girl states that she would like to live with her mother and the mother, who is the wife of the Petitioner, is present in the Court and states that she will keep the girl.

Though the initial FIR registered against Respondent No. 2 i.e., Awdhesh bearing FIR No. 687 of 2024 dated 09.11.2024 was registered under Section 137 (2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, ["BNS"], offences under Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 ["POCSO"] alongwith Section 64(1) of the BNS have also been added in the FIR.

It is stated that non-bailable warrants have been issued against the Respondent No. 2 since he is absconding.

Be that as it may, since the girl has been produced in the Court and the girl has expressed her desire to go back with her mother, the mother of the girl would take the child with her. 13.

Nothing survives in this petition.

The petition is disposed of.
