The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the BNSS seeks the following prayers:- "i. Allow the present Writ Petition and release the Petitioner on First spell of Furlough for a period of three weeks to re-establish his social ties with his family members and society.

ii. Pass such other or further order/orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the larger interest of justice."

It is pointed out that the application on behalf of the petitioner seeking furlough is pending before the Competent Authority. 5.

The petitioner will be at liberty to take appropriate proceedings in accordance with law after the decision by the Competent Authority. 7.
