Writ Petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed by the Petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No. 0556/2020 dated 21.10.2020 registered under Sections 287/337 IPC at P.S. Narela Industrial Area and all the proceedings arising therefrom in terms of Memorandum of Settlement dated 11.05.2023 and Agreement dated 23.07.2025.

It is submitted that incident happened in the factory of the Petitioner on 21.10.2020 in which Nasrudin suffered simple injuries while Neeraj The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Yadav aged about 30 years died because of the injuries suffered in the incident.

The parties are present in person in the Court and have been identified by their Counsel and the Investigating Officer. 4.

It is submitted that the matter has been settled in terms of Memorandum of Settlement dated 11.05.2023 with Geeta and in terms of Agreement dated 23.07.2025 with Nasrudin.

Both the victims are present in the Court. Nasrudin submits that he has suffered simple injuries and all the medical expenditure was born by the Petitioner and he recovered within two days and is now working with another person.

The Complainant-Nasrudin endorsed the amicable Settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily and they submit that the said Settlement has been arrived at between the parties, without any pressure and coercion and that they shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement. 7.

Smt. Geeta, w/o of Late Neeraj Yadav is present in person who submits that she has already got Rs.10 lacs from Labour Commissioner and further has accepted Rs.1 lakh which has been paid in cash today for herself and also on behalf of her minor daughter Nikita, who is aged about 15 years. 8.

Smt. Geeta endorsed the amicable Settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily and they submit that the said Settlement has been arrived at between the parties, without any pressure and coercion and that they shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement.

The parties have reaffirmed the terms of the amicable Settlement and stated that they shall remain bound by the same. 10.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.

Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.

Accordingly, considering the totality of circumstances and the fact that the parties have settled the matter, FIR No. 0556/2020 dated 21.10.2020 registered under Sections 287/337 IPC at P.S. Narela Industrial Area and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 13.

The Petition alongwith pending Applications, stands disposed of accordingly.
