The accused/applicant seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 568/2024 of PS Jahangir Puri for offence under Section 117(2)/126(2)/3(5)/140(4)/61(2) BNS. Broadly speaking, allegation against the accused/applicant is that along with a few others, he assaulted the victim with fists and kicks. The remaining accused persons were arrested and have been granted bail. Under these circumstances, learned counsel for accused/applicant seeks permission to withdraw this anticipatory bail application, submitting that the accused/applicant shall surrender before the concerned Magistrate and seek regular bail.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed as withdrawn making it clear that this Court has not examined merits of the case at request of counsel for accused/applicant.
