This petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No.240/2023 under Sections 380/448/411/34 IPC at PS: Laxmi Nagar on ground of settlement arrived at between the parties vide MOU dated 9th November 2023, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioner nos.1 to 5 and respondent no.2, complainant are present in the Court and duly identified by the IO and their respective counsels. 3.
Demand Draft No.049569, drawn on Axis Bank dated 4th July 2024, for the balance amount of Rs. 60,000/-, is tendered to respondent no.2 in the Court today who accepts and acknowledges the same. She states that she has no objection to quashing of the FIR.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. 5.
Accordingly, the petitions are allowed and FIR No.240/2023 under Sections 380/448/411/34 IPC at PS: Laxmi Nagar and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.
Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are disposed of as infructuous.
