% 17.08.2020 (Video Conference Hearing) CRL.M.A. 7923/2020 (Exemption) It is an application seeking exemption from filing the certified copies of annexures etc. Allowed, subject to just exceptions. Application stands disposed of accordingly.

BAIL APPLN. 1335/2020 (seeking interim bail) Snatching of Rs.100/- is alleged to be the off-shoot of the subject incident for which the applicant is facing trial inter alia for the offence under Section 302 IPC. The assault is allegedly with knives. As per the status report, the applicant has no other criminal antecedents and Mr. Mukesh Kumar, ld. APP concedes that the conduct of the applicant in the jail has been satisfactory though, the nominal roll of some other case / accused person surfaces on court record.

Mr. Mukesh Kumar, ld. APP also

concedes that though the case is listed for final arguments, the matter is remaining in the category of final arguments since 14.10.2019. Case of the applicant is squarely covered within the parameters of the recommendations of the High Powered Committee of the High Court for entertaining the instant interim bail application.

Taking into account the totality of facts and circumstances, the applicant is admitted to interim bail for a period of 45 days from the date of his release on his executing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendant.
