The prime grievance coming from the side of the petitioner is to the effect that the police has yet not registered FIR based on her complaint. 2.

The concerned I.O. is present and she submits that they wanted some further assistance from the complainant, in order to take appropriate action in the matter, but since despite being contacted, she did not come forward and and her complaint was, eventually, filed.

During course of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner assured that the petitioner would contact the concerned I.O. within one week. She also submits that in case she apprehends any threat to her life at the hands of the concerned accused, the police should assure that requisite action is taken.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel (Crl) for the State submits that all the necessary action will be taken, once she contacts the investigating officer.

In view of the above, at the moment, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition and seeks to withdraw the same. She, however, seeks liberty to file it afresh, if no action is taken by the police. 6.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as not pressed. 7.

Pending applications also stand disposed of.

Liberty, as prayed, is granted.
