This hearing has been held through video conferencing. 2.
The Petitioner challenges the order dated 3rd December, 2018 passed by the Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner as well as the proceedings initiated by the Recovery Officer pursuant to the said order. 3.
The submission of ld. counsel for the Petitioner is that the said order has been challenged by him by way of an appeal before the CGIT-cumLabour Court, however, the same has not been listed for hearing. He submits that the Recovery Officer is taking coercive steps in the meantime. 4.
Considering that the appeal has already been filed, the CGIT-cumLabour Court is directed to take up the matter by the end of this week i.e., on or before 26th June, 2020. The Recovery Officer shall not take any coercive steps till the appeal filed by the Petitioner is listed before the CGIT-cumLabour Court. 5.
The ld. Registrar General shall contact the Presiding Officer in the By:PRATHIBA M SINGH
CGIT-cum-Labour Court and inform them of this order. The said forum ought to commence holding hearings including via video-conferencing. 6.
With these observations, the petition and all pending applications are disposed of.
