% 13.05.2024 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant with appellant appearing in person prayed for leave of this Court to withdraw the present appeal submitting to the effect that the parties have arrived at a settlement without any duress, pressure or coercion from any quarter. The respondent appearing in person with in reply to a specific Court query affirmed the factum of a settlement having been arrived at between the parties. He further submitted that he does not oppose the prayer made on behalf of the appellant seeking withdrawal of the present appeal in terms of the settlement.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties and no objection on behalf of the respondent, the appeal along with the accompanying application stands disposed of in terms of the settlement having been arrived at between the parties.
