% 21.09.2020 The hearing was conducted through video conferencing. CRL. M (BAIL) 8042/2020 (By applicant/petitioner for extension of bail for a period of 60 days)

1. Issue notice.

2. Notice is accepted by Mr G.M. Farooqui, the learned APP for the State/non-applicant.

3. At the request of the learned counsels for the parties, the application is taken up for disposal.

4. This is an application moved by the applicant/petitioner seeking extension of interim bail which was granted to him by this Court‟s order dated 30.06.2020 for 45 days, which was later extended for a period of 30 days vide order dated 24.08.2020, on the ground that the applicant/petitioner‟s wife left for her native place in Bihar leaving behind minor children with petitioner/applicant‟s sister-in-law during the current straitened pandemic circumstances prevailing nationwide.

5. The applicant/petitioner has given no cause for complaint to the State for the past 75 days‟ period when he was out on interim bail. His family condition and necessity remains the same.

6. In view of the above, the interim bail granted to the applicant/petitioner vide order by this Court‟s order dated 30.06.2020 for 45 days which was later extended for a period of 30 days vide order dated 24.08.2020 is further extended for another period of sixty days, on the same terms and conditions as contained in the order dated 30.06.2020.

7. Nothing stated in this order shall be deemed to be an adjudication on the merits of the case.

8. The Registry is directed to send a copy of this order to the Jail Superintendent concerned for due compliance.

9. The application stands disposed off in the above terms.
