% 18.07.2018 W.P.(C) 822/2018 and CM No. 3500/2018 The petitioners claim to be regular street vendors vending at sites so mentioned in the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the fact that the election for the first Town Vending Committee (TVC) has already been conducted, he seeks leave to withdraw the present petition to enable the petitioners to approach the TVC as and when it becomes functional.

Counsels for the respondents, without admitting any of the averments made in the writ petition, have no objection. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Leave, as prayed, is granted to approach the TVC with all supporting documents as and when it is constituted. CM No. 3500/2018 is also dismissed.

However, we make is clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
