The limited prayer sought by the petitioner in the present petition is that the second appeal filed (vide diary no.140479/2024) by the petitioner before the Central Information Commission ('CIC') be directed to be heard expeditiously.

It is submitted that the appeal was filed on 17.12.2024 and there is no intimation from the CIC as to the date of hearing thereof. 3.

In the circumstances, the CIC is requested to list the aforesaid appeal for hearing and to make an endeavour to dispose of the same expeditiously, and preferably within a period of six months from today. 4.

In the meantime, the petitioner shall be at liberty to inspect the relevant records at the Ranjit Nagar Police Station, Central District, Delhi as permitted by the Public Information officer vide communication dated 14.10.2024 (while disposing of the petitioner's RTI application dated 03.09.2024).

It is agreed that the petitioner would carry out the inspection on 08.04.2025 and 09.04.2025.

It is assured and undertaken by SI Sunil Kumar, PS Ranjit Nagar that the entire record will be made available to the petitioner for inspection and he, himself, shall remain present with the petitioner and render assistance for the purpose of the said inspection. The said statement is taken on record. 8.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. The pending applications also stand disposed of.
