This is a petition filed by the Petitioner- Mr. Chaudhary Sudesh Kumar, a member of the Shahdara Bar Association, praying, inter alia, for the framing of a proper model code of conduct for the conduct of elections in the Shahdara Bar Association which are scheduled for 9th May, 2025. 3.

Vide order dated 7th April, 2025, this Court has already appointed a Chairperson for the Election Committee, Shahdara Bar Association and the Hon'ble Chairperson has also taken over the charge for the conduct of elections.

Accordingly, the Hon'ble Chairperson of the Election Committee is free to pass any specific code of conduct that may be required in order to ensure that there is a fair and free conduct of elections in a peaceful manner. 5.

A copy of the present writ petition be communicated to the Hon'ble Chairperson of the Election Committee.
