By filing the present Writ Petition in the year 2026, the Petitioner effectively seeks to impugn his termination order passed on 22.06.2021 and Order dated 12.11.2021 vide which his representation dated 13.08.2021 was rejected.

The Petitioner was provisionally appointed as Constable (GD) in the year 2017, subject to verification of his criminal antecedents. On verification, it was found that the Petitioner was involved in a criminal case arising out of FIR No. 104/2012 at PS: M. Kallupatti, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The Petitioner, however, had suppressed this information in the application form submitted for recruitment. After issuance of a show-cause notice, his services were dispensed with in the year 2021.

on 27.04.2023 and thereafter made another representation, which was rejected on 19.05.2023.

Now, after nearly three (03) years from the rejection of the representation, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 5.

In any case, if the Petitioner was to file a Civil Suit challenging his termination, the limitation period would begin to run from the date of termination, or at the highest, from the date of rejection of his first representation, i.e. vide order dated 12.11.2021. The Petitioner cannot revive a stale cause of action by making successive representations. 6.

Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is dismissed on the ground of delay and laches.
