By way of present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR bearing no. 142/2013, registered at Police Station Kotwali, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 147/148/323/380/452/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter „IPC‟). 4.

Thereafter, chargesheet was filed on 02.08.2013, and Section 411 of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

IPC was added.

Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 6.

The petitioners and respondent no. 2 are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsels and concerned Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Kotwali, Delhi.

Briefly stated, facts of the present case are that on 02.08.2012, DD No. 14 (PP Red Fort) was received regarding a quarrel. Subsequently, which the present FIR was registered against the petitioners under relevant sections of law. It is stated that the chargesheet has also been filed before the concerned court. Further, on 07.10.2020, the supplementary chargesheet was filed by the Investigating Agency. It is stated that both the parties have amicably settled the present matter vide Settlement Deed dated 18.04.2026, entered between them.

On a query made by this Court, respondent no. 2, who has been identified by the concerned IO, has categorically stated that he has entered into compromise out of his own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. It is also stated by respondent no. 2 that the entire dispute has been amicably settled between the parties. Respondent no. 2 further states that he has no objection if the present FIR is quashed. 9.

It is stated that the complainant and the petitioners are related to each other. The petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 are real brothers. The matter has been settled between the parties.

In view of the above fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 11.

Accordingly, FIR bearing No. 142/2013, registered at Police Station Kotwali, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 147/148/323/380/452/411/34 of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

In view of the above, the present petition, along with pending application, stands disposed of.
