Learned counsel, as aforesaid, accepts notice on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). He submits that the directions contained in the order dated 27.01.2026 in W.P.(C) 1067/2026 shall be scrupulously complied with.

It is submitted that, so far, MCD has only carried out a survey of the concerned property / area along with the concerned SDM, and no demolition action has been taken. It is assured and undertaken that, if any demolition action is to be undertaken, the same shall be preceded by adherence to appropriate procedural safeguards and directions of the Supreme Court as contained in In Re: Directions in the matter of demolition of structures, 2024 SCC OnLine SC 3291.
