This hearing is conducted through video conferencing. 2.
This bail application is filed under section 439 Cr.P.C. pursuant to FIR No.149/2019 dated 02.09.2019 registered under sections 419, 420, 120B IPC at P.S. Special Cell, Delhi for regular bail/extension of interim bail for 45 days.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he confines the present petition for seeking extension of interim bail for 45 days.

This court on 12.05.2020 in bail application No.786/2020 noted as follows:

The above-noted FIR was registered on the 29th September, 2019 on the complaint of one Sonu Vashisht, authorised signatory for Exide Life Insurance Company Limited. The complainant stated that the complainant company served over 15 lakhs customers and managed assets over 12,500/- crores of rupees. The company focused on providing long-term protection and giving plans to its customers besides providing other services. It is the case of the prosecution that Shivam, the co-accused had stolen the data of Exide Life Insurance Company Limited which was found in the laptop recovered at his instance and based on the said data the
petitioner and the co-accused Anurag made phone calls to gullible customers purportedly acting as agents of Exide Life Insurance Company Limited, though they had no connect whatsoever with the said company.

It is not disputed by the learned APP for the State or learned counsel for the complainant that the co-accused Anurag and Shivam have been released on interim bails vide orders dated 29th March, 2020 and 29th April, 2020 as their cases fell within the purview of relaxations granted by the High Powered Committee constituted by this Court for easing the number of prisoners in the jail to overcome the COVID-19 situation. 7.
Since the learned counsel for the petitioner is confining the present application for seeking interim bail on parity, this court finds that the petitioner is entitled to get interim bail on parity.

Consequently, the petitioner is directed to be released on interim bail for a period of 45 days from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. The petitioner is directed to inform of his mobile number as also of his family members to the Superintendent Jail as well as to the investigating officer." 5.
The aforesaid period of 45 days is expiring. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of ongoing pandemic, which is currently affecting the city, it would be in the interest of justice that the interim bail be extended by a period of 45 days. 6.
The above matter was listed on 24.06.2020. On that date, it was pointed out by the learned counsel for the respondent that the petitioner has violated the conditions imposed by this court by order dated 12.05.2020 inasmuch as the petitioner has not provided his phone number to the concerned I.O. of P.S. Special Cell. It was directed that the petitioner will meet the I.O. on 25.06.2020 at 11.00 AM. and will provide
his phone number, which is operational, and also complete details of the address as to where he is residing to the concerned I.O. 7.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has met the I.O. yesterday, i.e. on 25.06.2020 and has provided the necessary details to the I.O.

Learned counsel for the respondent confirms the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Keeping in view the ongoing pandemic, it would be in the interest of justice that the interim bail granted to the petitioner is extended by a period of 45 days.

Accordingly, the interim bail as granted by this court on 12.05.2020 is extended for a period of 45 days w.e.f. today, subject to the same terms and conditions as stated in the order of this court dated 12.05.2020.

It is made clear that on the expiry of the period of 45 days from today the petitioner will surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent.

A copy of this order be sent by the Registry by e-mail to the Jail Superintendent, Tihar for information and necessary compliance. 13.
