% 23.01.2017 The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent No.1-BSES to grant separate electricity connection in the petitioner's name at premises bearing No.N-75, Welcome, Seelampur, Delhi.

It has been averred in the petition that the petitioner is staying in the aforesaid premises for the past twenty years. It has been further averred that respondent No.2-brother-in-law has filed a suit for title and ownership of the aforesaid property and the same is pending adjudication.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that respondent No.1BSES has refused to grant separate electricity connection to the petitioner without NOC from respondent No.2 despite the petitioner being in settled possession of the said property since last twenty years. A perusal of the paper book reveals that the petitioner's suit for

title and ownership has already been dismissed and the said order has attained finality.

This Court is also of the view that the issue involved in the present writ petition actually pertains to a family dispute. Consequently, the present writ petition is not maintainable. However, the petitioner is given liberty to file a civil suit to seek a similar relief. With the aforesaid liberty, the present writ petition and application stand disposed of.
