CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE C. HARI SHANKAR HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE OM PRAKASH SHUKLA ORDER (ORAL) % 29.04.2026 C.HARI SHANKAR, J.

1.

The petitioner was admitted as LDC in 1982.

2.

It is not necessary for us to recall all the facts in the case. Suffice it to state that in 2025, the petitioner filed OA 4117/2025 before the Central Administrative Tribunal seeking ante dating of the promotion which was granted to him in 1990.

KUMAR 15:40:21 W.P.(C) 5846/2026

3.

The Tribunal has held the OA to be hopelessly barred by time. 4.

The OA was accompanied by an application for condonation of delay. The ground taken by the petitioner for condonation of delay was that he was suffering from Stage 2 Cancer and was undergoing treatment. The Tribunal has noted that the record of treatment was also only of 2024 and there was no explanation for 34 years between 1990 and 2024.

5.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, we do not find this to be a case in which we can even issue notice. 6.

The writ petition is dismissed in limine.
