CRL.M.A. 4488/2021 (Extension of bail) The applicant was granted interim bail vide order dated 03.07.2020 for a period of 45 days, subject to the terms and conditions imposed vide order dated 03.07.2020.

Now the matter has been taken up on CRL.M.A. 4488/2021 filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking extension of the interim bail, submitting the effect that the petitioner had to surrender on 15.03.2021 but has since been detected positive for Corona on 13.03.2021 and has thus been advised isolation and that the surrender of the applicant apart from putting the petitioner to risk will put other inmates in the jail also at risk.

Notice of the application is accepted on behalf of the State. The verification report in relation to the application is submitted by the State. In the interest of justice, till the next date of hearing, the interim bail granted to the applicant vide order dated 03.07.2020 is extended on the same terms and conditions.
