The Petition under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, has been filed on behalf of the parties for appointment of the Arbitral Tribunal.

It is submitted in the application that the respondent had appointed the learned ADJ as sole Arbitrator to which the petitioner had consented. However, in order to avoid any challenge in future, it is submitted that the appointment of the learned Arbitrator may be confirmed by the Court, in view of the agreement of both the parties.

In view of the submissions made in the application, the appointment of the learned Additional District Judge, Sh. Padam Kant Saxena (Retd.) is confirmed as the sole Arbitrator.
