The Petitioner, practicing Advocate and a member of Respondent No. 3/Rohini Court Bar Association, is aggrieved from the non-allotment of lawyers chamber at Rohini Court despite being eligible for the same. 2.

On 31st August, 2018, Respondent No. 2/The Lawyer's Chamber Allotment Committee invited applications for allotment of lawyers chamber for Female Bar Members Category Physically Challenged and Handicapped Category and Ex-Judicial Officer Category through Notification No. 37407C/LCAC/Rohini/ N/W/. 3.

On 03rd October, 2018, Petitioner applied for allotment of lawyers chamber under the said notification, however, her application has not been processed till date. She also requested Respondent No. 3 to pursue the matter with Respondent No. 2 but to no avail. 4.

Respondents No. 1 and 2, has handed over a copy of the communication dated 23rd April, 2024, wherein it has been informed that as per the seniority list, Petitioner's name is listed at S. No. 97. Presently only 10.5 chambers i.e. 21 seats are available for allotment of chambers to the female lawyers under the reserved category and, therefore, in consideration of seniority, she is not a successful candidate for the said allotment. Moreover, provisional list of advocates prepared as per the seniority list also reflects the names of the advocates who have been considered for allotment provision. 5.

In light of the above averments, since the Petitioner is in the seniority list, no further directions can be given for any out of turn allotment to her. 6.
