On the last date of hearing, this Court had directed the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as respondent no.2-MCD to visit the North and South Parks abutting Jama Masjid, Delhi.

Both the learned counsel confirm that North and South Parks are open to the public at large.

Learned counsel for respondent no.2 assures and undertakes to this Court that the gates of North and South Parks abutting Jama Masjid shall be kept open on a daily basis. She further assures and undertakes to this Court that the all the parks abutting Jama Masjid shall be properly maintained by the MCD.

The statements/assurances/undertaking given by learned counsel for respondent no.2-MCD are accepted by this Court and the respondent no.2MCD is held bound by the same. 7.
In view of the aforesaid, present petition is disposed of.
