O R D E R

% 14.07.2020 Vide the present petition, the petitioner has sought the grant of mandamus to the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of three months submitting to the effect that the petitioner has been incarcerated for a period of 7 years and 7 months and that the application filed by the petitioner for the grant of regular parole has been pending before the Dept. Home (General) Secretary, Govt. of NCT and had not been disposed of and even previously that the applicant had sought release on parole when her daughter was to be married on 12.03.2020, the prayer had not been considered and that the applicant now wishes to take care of newly born grand-daughter born on 10.06.2020 during the pandemic situation of COVID-19 there being no one else in the family to take care of the newly born grand-daughter. It has also been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that she seeks to file an SLP before the Hon'ble Supreme Court against her order for conviction.

As indicated vide the nominal roll that had been filed by the petitioner

that the three other accused persons were indicated to be released on parole and only one co-accused apart from the petitioner was reported to be incarcerated.

On behalf of the State, learned APP for the State had sought time to respond back to the application filed by the petitioner seeking grant of parole. It is submitted now on behalf of the State that vide order dated 13.07.2020, the applicant has been allowed to be released on parole for a period of 8 weeks, the copy of the said order be e-mailed at this stage to the Registry and the Court Master of this Court as well as to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the State that the applicant has been allowed to be released on parole in terms of order dated 13.07.2020, no further action is called for in the petition, which is thus disposed of.
