O R D E R

% 29.01.2018 Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Arun Ahlawat of police station Farsh Bazar. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 before the Counselling Cell, Family Court, Karkardooma, Delhi on 14th December, 2016 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that her marriage with petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent by the Family Court, Shahdara, Karkardooma Court, Delhi on 14th November, 2017. Petitioner no. 1 has paid `1 lac to the respondent no.2 today in Court vide demand draft, photocopy whereof has been placed on record.

Respondent no.2 submits that entire settled amount of `4.30 lacs stands paid with this payment. She has no objection in case the FIR is quashed against all the petitioners.

Keeping in mind that marriage between the petitioner and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved be a decree of divorce by mutual consent and respondent no.2 does not wish to pursue the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 224/2015 under Sections 498A/34 IPC registered at police station Farsh Bazar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
