% 14.02.2020 Mr. Harpreet Singh, the learned Senior Standing Counsel for the Department of Customs states, upon instructions, that the petitioner himself had not appeared before the Adjudicating Authority, despite various dates having been given to him as is mentioned on the goods detention receipt. Nevertheless, the matter has been looked into expeditiously and the proceedings have been disposed-off vide order dated 08.05.2019. In view of the above, no lis survivies.

The petition is disposed-off in the above terms. The order of costs of Rs. 25,000/- is recalled. There is no observation apropos any specific officer.
