% 29.06.2020 [Hearing held through videoconferencing] CRL.M.A. 8358/2020 & CRL.M.A. 8359/2020 1.

Exemptions are allowed, subject to all just exceptions. 2.

The applications are disposed of.

BAIL APPLN. 1447/2020 3.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that interim bail be granted for the petitioner for a period of one month in FIR No. 368/2019 under Sections 394/397/411/34 of the IPC registered with Police Station Mundka, New Delhi.

4.

It is the petitioner's case that the wedding of his sister is scheduled today and he is her only brother and, therefore, is required to attend the same. The present petition was filed today and taken up on urgent basis. But it is apparent that there is little possibility of the facts stated therein being verified. A copy of the present petition has also not been served on the respondent. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that inadvertently a copy of another petition was served on the respondent as the name of the

petitioner in that petition is similar to the name of the petitioner. 5.

The petitioner's application for a similar relief before the learned ASJ was rejected on 23.06.2020. The copy of the order indicates that the grounds urged by the petitioner could not be verified due to paucity of time. The said order also indicates that the petitioner has previous criminal record at PS Sadar, Jhajjar and PS Sadar, Bhiwani, Haryana. 6.

The invitation card annexed with the present petition indicates that the wedding celebrations will start serving lunch at 12:00 p.m. and the wedding ceremony is scheduled to be held at 02:00 p.m. The departure of the bride (doli) will be in the evening. The said ceremony is to be held at Rohtak. It is already 02.30 p.m. and even if directions are granted for releasing of the petitioner on interim bail, it is impossible for the petitioner to attend the same.

7.

In the given circumstances, this Court is unable to accede to the prayer made in the present petition. The same is, accordingly, dismissed. VIBHU BAKHRU, J JUNE 29, 2020 RK
