O R D E R

% 09.07.2020 [Hearing held through videoconferencing] 1.

The petitioner has filed the present application seeking interim bail for a period of three months on the ground that he is required to assist his father who is required to undergo a heart surgery.

Status report has been filed which indicates that the documents provided by the petitioner were examined and it has been verified that the petitioner's father was admitted to Metro Hospital, Najafgarh, Delhi on 10.06.2020 with a history of chest pain, breathlessness, palpitation, cough and extreme anxiety. He was diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome. However, no surgery was advised; he is advised to consult a cardiologist or a nephrologists. He was discharged from the said hospital on 12.06.2020 and there are no documents on record which indicate that any surgery is scheduled.

It is also reported that the petitioner's father had disowned him on

08.04.2003 and the documents to the said effect were also filed. 4.

Lastly, it was reported that the petitioner is involved in several other cases.

The petitioner is charged with a serious crime. 6.

Considering the above, this Court is not persuaded to accede to the prayer made by the petitioner at this stage.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
