% 24.08.2020 (Video Conference Hearing) W.P.(C) 3813/2020 & CM APPL. 13659/2020 (for interim relief) The petitioner - a student of B.A. (Hons.) Political Science in the College of respondent no.2 - Satyawati College by way of the instant writ petition prays for, as follows:

"a. Pass a writ of mandamus or any appropriate writ directing the respondent to declare the result of the III semester of B.A. (Hons) Political Science of Role number 7043 issued by the respondent No.2 and the registration number issued by the respondent no. 1 is 18062527028 for the academic year 2020.

b. After declaring the result of III Semester, the 50% mark be calculated as per circular dt. 04.06.2020 from the

previous semester while calculating the marks for the IV semester."

During the course of hearing, Mr. Rupal, ld. Standing Counsel for respondent no.1 - University of Delhi submits that the result of the first and third semester exams of the petitioner has been declared. Mr. Rupal shares such result on the screen with the certificate dated 01.08. 2020 having been issued. Let a copy of such result be furnished to Mr. Sharma, ld. counsel for the petitioner, during the course of the day. Mr. Rupal states that this result for third semester has come to be declared on account of judicial intervention and may not be treated as a precedent. It is ordered accordingly.

In view of the foregoing, nothing actually survives in the instant petition inasmuch as the declaration of fourth semester result would follow as per the applicable rules and regulations of the respondents. Mr. Sharma, ld. counsel for the petitioner concedes to that effect. In view of the foregoing, the writ petition and the pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
