The instant petition is for the following reliefs:- "i. Issue a writ of Certiorari quashing the order dated 17.04.2026 passed by the Respondent No. 1 after receipt of enquiry report from the Respondent No. 2 in the matter "Sh. Dinesh Kumar Tewari & Anr. v. Sh. Mayank Tewari & Anr." bearing Case No. 20/2025/ DC(S)/417 - 420 ii. Direct the Respondent No. 3 and 4 to vacate the residence of the Petitioners with immediate effect iii. Pass such other order or further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the present case." 2.

The order dated 17.04.2026 passed by respondent no.1 i.e. District Magistrate (South) is appealable before the Divisional Commissioner in terms of the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 ('Act of 2007'). The Court, thus, finds that there is no reason to entertain the instant writ petition as the petitioners have an alternate remedy.
